Up until 10 years ago I only wore $5 gas station sunglasses.

Then I bought A pair of Persol's. It's almost like an artist put these together.

So what do you prefer.

Working at the lake, I was always a cheap sunglasses guy. One day, one of my vendors gave me a pair of Costas for sending them some new customers.
I will never go back. They are night and day. Having bad eyes anyways, the better glasses make my eyes feel so much better at the end of a day.

i am more middle of the road when it comes to sunglasses. i wont spend more than 80 bucks on them... but i also wont spend less than 20.

right now i use some tifosi elder
and my other pair is a tifosi lore
they both have fototek lenses.. i like the auto darkening of them.

i use red lenses on the lore and orange in the elder (when they were still available)

I'm tough on sunglasses & have been through most of the major brands - I was lucky to keep any in good shape for more than a year.

Under Armour has been the toughest and least able to scratch so far. Bought these about 4 years ago and the only part that went bad was the nose rubber (just this past month). Not sure what they coat their lenses with, but it's tough as hell.

I have a fat head and as such I break sunglasses quickly. I used to spend a bunch of money on nice sunglasses, but after realizing that nobody actually honors their lifetime warranty, I just buy cheap sunglasses now.

That said, the only cheap glasses I buy are Puggs brand, and then only one style. They are tuff as fuck and wide enough for my fat head.

Give you an idea how big my head is, I wear a size 8 in fitted hats.

I don't wear them much, mostly for driving and fishing. I have a pair of Oakley Flak Jacket XL's that are polarized. I like them quite a lot, and they totally complete the doucher look.

I was gonna say. Any time I put on Oakleys when we're in a store, my wife asks if I'm planning on beating the crap out of her.

Total douchebro!

Cheap sunglasses now. I keep losing them...plus it's hard for me to spend $350 on sunglasses when I could use that for gun or truck related items. I won't buy $350 sunglasses but think nothing of buying a $2500 rifle. Go figure.

I used to work 11 hours a day 7 days a week on the beach in Fl and at that time I spent more since I always had them on.

I also lost a comfortable set of Arnette's, Maui Jim sport's, Oakley half jacket, all while having to go after people in the water unexpectedly and I could never find them again. It sucks to loose a pair you have spent hundreds on, but it was worth it since I wore them constantly.

Expensive always. Your eyes will thank you. Cheap sunglasses are like cheap optics. Not as clear causing your eye to strain and many do not have the proper UV protection and with the darkness of the lens, your pupil will dilate allowing more UV sunlight to enter your eye causing damage.
