Where the hell were these when I was the shooting sports director!?! -_-

Could have been really awesome and useful for people sitting at the range to protect their hearing.

I feel the same kids today don't know how good they have it but I'm glad to see it being accepted in the Scout society to me that's huge.

If not for NFA garbage, I would fully expect to see suppressors in blister packs next to the cheap Bushnell scopes. Injection molded plastic suppressors in the sub $25 price range (rimfire at least)- when it gets overheated or full of crud, just toss it in the trash and go get another one. Centerfire would probably be a bit more just because of the materials required for higher pressures. Still, same concept.

I can see where it will boost attendance numbers at the camp as well. My dad runs the rifle and shotgun range at Camp Sidney Dew in Rome. I am sure if they could get it funded they would use suppressors as well. They have had a hard enough time securing .22 ammo for the last several years!
