Mine didn't but because of the 60 lb trigger pull (actually I don't know what the trigger pull is rated at but I checked to make sure I didn't have the safety on - twice) I launched that sucker into the adjoining grid square...

40mm launcher owners enjoy launching chalk rounds which simulate the trajectory of real 40mm HE grenades. While the launcher is an NFA item, the chalk rounds have always been considered non-Nfa as they are not explosive. That is until recently......
