    For the last 20 years, I've not bought a boat. I'm still ok with that decision. It seems like anything boat related costs 10x more than the same things designed for land use.

    Ok... wow. I had no idea. I have also only bought older vehicles because i know how to work on them. Eventually I'm going to be forced to buy something newer than a 2004. 250k miles and counting... engine still sounds great.

    I was going to say that 2 gallons is a hell of a lot of oil, but I'm sure you know better than me. My Toyo 4.8 takes 5ish quarts with a new filter.
