I still favor my LC9 as a good compact carry piece. It's on me right now, in fact. I think it's a great balance between a lightweight gun, like the LCP, and a heavier one that carries more rounds, with increased girth as well. Nice find!

I've been around guns all my life. I spent eight years in the Navy around guns, explosives, bombs and nuclear warheads. Believe me, people are that, and more, stupid. Not saying it wasn't staged, but worse things have happened. And to innocent bystanders as well.
