Ithaca M-49 lever action single shot saddle gun

I was born in 1950, growing up back then if you turned on the Television it there were loads of Cowboy Shows. Roy Rogers, Cheyenne, Have Gun Will Travel, The Rifleman, the Virginian and others. Cowboys wore wide brimmed hats, rode a horse, and packed a 45 Caliber Six Shooter and a lever action...

    22 pump

Re: 22 pump LOL.... Loads of fun. Once you figured out which way the sights were bent you could really upset the fellow running the booth by reducing his inventory....

    S&W Model 10-8 .38 Special

Great looking old revolver..... The large barrel and the way it handles make it a keeper. The action is tight and it should be a hoot to shoot. S&W Model 10 .38 Special

    S&W Model 10-8 .38 Special

LOL.... Palmetto Arms, across the street from SLED and DJJ. They're part of Dana Safety Supply out of Greensboro, they cater to Law Enforcement/Corrections Gear. The get a lot of police trade ins, plus private sales. I've bought several firearms from them over the years. This one was part of a 3...

    S&W Model 10-8 .38 Special

I was out making the rounds today with a friend and ran into an old Classic Smith & Wesson Revolver, chambered for .38 Special ammunition. It was a Model 10-8 revolver, with a square butt and a 3 inch barrel, non-pinned. It’s a “heavy barrel” and in great shape. The asking price was $399.00...

    A new Remington 9 - under $400 nice!

I like the looks of it...... The one picture makes it look like a Ray Gun from a Science Fiction Movie. Other aspects of the design remind me of a Walther PPK S-1. Interesting.

    LC9 added to carry options

Good catch. The LC9 is a great choice in concealed carry.

    Hate shooting in the cold

Many a cold winter morning I had to drag my behind out to a requalification course on a pistol or rifle range. But that was many moons ago, these days it's strictly indoors in the winter months. Call me wimp, and I'll smile. I moved South in 1989 and freezing was the reason.

    What are you carrying today?

Last Saturday I was packing a Ruger LCP .380 and a Walther PPK S-1. I chartered a boat at Edisto Island and went back into Scott Creek up off the Wadmalaw River. The temperature was in the high 30s. We started out fishing off Otter Island but thanks to some dolphins and some cold weather...

    The .380 photo thread...

Here's my 380 ACPs. The LC380 has been detained by the Widow, who after she used it to complete her CWP class, uses it for a daily carry piece. (Left click with mouse to enlarge.)

My Kimber Pro CDP before and after her "Facelift"

So do I. She's a great shooter, especially on an indoor range. Lots of boom and the flames fly. I bought it as a retirement/birthday gift when I retired in January 2012. I've always wanted a Kimber and got tired of just looking at them through the display case glass like a kid in a candy store.

That some change you've made. I still have the original look on a Custom Shop Super Carry Pro that I have.
