    Best price for target ammo

It's really not that bad once you get it all set up. I've been reloading handgun for about 10 years. @Dirtbike just got his press up and running a month or two ago. It's worth the investment!

What Do Do If You Get Pulled Over While Carrying Concealed?

WOAH!!! @T\.L\.Jones .......are you saying everything on youtube isn't 100% true, put out there by legitimate experts in their fields, and that it may actually steer me wrong......my mind is blown!! This thread is just humorous at this point. lol

Do you have the necessary skills to effectively carry

As noted in the title of my article, ..."Effectively carry..." is not the same as just using a firearm. In your example, I would sincerely hope that if your elderly lady had a gun in her nightstand that she had at least shot it before. I also never said people who don't have those skills...

    Flinch???

Maybe we should start a video thread. We can feel good about ourselves, and then have everyone pick it apart. lol

    Flinch???

For the OP, know that I started out slow and steady like everyone else. It was practice, dry fire, talking to shooters better than myself, and more practice to get me to this point. You'll get past the flinch.

    Flinch???

Absolutely true. I've been shooting USPSA for 10 years. There is a HUGE benefit from shooting competition. Start out slow, talk to experienced shooters, and you won't believe the tips you'll pick up. Few things are better at simulated stress than competition. It simulates the chemical dump...

.300 blackout... is there a practical application for it?

@T\.L\.Jones , You're pretty much right on. I run a 100m zero on all my 5.56 rifles, however as you noted you can run a 50/200 and get good results. If you tried to zero 300BLK at anything more than 100m I would be worried. It has a arc like a rainbow. Heavy slow bullet leads to massive and...

.300 blackout... is there a practical application for it?

I've taught numerous Tac Rifle classes where some students show up with .300BLK They always do great up close but usually struggle more when we move out to 200 & 300 meters, especially if they're running a 1x red dot.

.300 blackout... is there a practical application for it?

I see the .300 Blackout as an ideal caliber as a home defense AR. Hard hitting at close range and simply awesome with a suppressor. It's like a beefed up version of the MP5SD. which I have of course wanted since watching "Navy Seals" as a kid! Beyond that, it's just another toy to have.

    Flinch???

That's a tough one. Practice and more practice. Slow deliberate 2 shot drills and progressively increase speed between shots would be my suggestion.

    Flinch???

You legit close your eyes or your 2nd shot is just always off target?

Lets talk about our concealed weapons we carry

I've been carrying a Gen4 G19 for the last 3 years. It's reliable, simple, and runs like a champ. Prior to switching to Glock I carried and competed with Springfield Armory XD9's. No plans to move away from Glock in the foreseeable future. They work too well!

    The ar15 pistol...why?

There are quite a few manufacturers of AR pistols, AK pistols, etc. Rock River, Bushmaster, Anderson, Sig, Daniel Defense are a few. While you may not see them in stock in a gun shop, you'll find them if you do some web browsing. I built mine for cost purposes and customization reasons.

Do you have the necessary skills to effectively carry

Thanks Steve! We spend the first couple hours of Handgun Level 1 discussing situational awareness, action vs. reaction, and planning. Having a plan shortens the reactionary gap. And like I end the article, "avoiding a gunfight is better than winning it!" Too many people develop super hero...
