    The latest generation Springfield use two small sections of rail with a gap between. It's aimed at someone using traditional rings instead a QD mount. The vast majority of stuff now uses the side of the receiver and the clip guide dovetail.

    The Bad Aces mounts in place of the rear sight, then attaches at the clip guide point and has elevation adjustment at the barrel/chamber contact point. Not thrilled with the idea of removing the rear sight, but price is OK and it has a lot of firm contact with some adjustability.

    Which gen Springfield is it? I know that the Bassett mount is good, but I don't really needs something easily removable and I'd prefer something with a little more contact area... The BadAces mount actually looks pretty good, just can't find a a lot of reviews.
