Ahhh yes. I used that bag for almost 4 years. Great bag. I had the handles, commercially sewn to allow for more weight on the little grab handle.

I would agree but I got a custom tomahawk that has been very viable and even made me stop carrying a machete or a large fixed blade because it served those purposes. Guess it all depends on the amount of time and what your chopping.

I would 2nd this. I chose a hatchet but there might be a double bit ax in the Honda.

Don't own it. Just run it. And we agree with there being no hard use or really serious gear places. Understandably though, half the public doesn't want serious and you can't run a store just off the extreme. If your local check us out and always leave recommendations on gear. We love hearing...

I like your Kayak setup. To further add to this...be careful about bunging anything to the side...up to and including rods.....if they slide out because your friend is trying to grab your kayak....you may lose a very nice pole. (this did happen to me). But Kayak fishing is the bomb, every nice...
