    Training Buddy

Obviously this post has a little age to it. I have just taken my first class a couple weeks ago and now I have the itch. I don't make a lot of money but hope to get at least one more class in this year. Next year I am going to shoot for taking one class per quarter.

    Axe or Hatchet

I really like the Fiskars hatchet I have. I don't use it to buck or cut length, just for splitting small firewood.

Is your first aid kit prepared?

I have a few different bags. One is the stuff I keep in my pockets everyday, then I have bags in vehicles and a couple at home. The primary in most my bags is blood loss and airway. In a couple bags I have EPI pens because even if you aren't allergic to bees that doesn't mean that you cannot...

    90+% certainty, El Nino.

I love a hard winter. Makes it a pain to get to work and keep the animals fed but its still fun.

Where Do You Buy Your Gear?

I buy everything online. There are almost no reputable serious gear dealers around. So I buy from SOE, AGS Armament, GreenForce Tactical and NSR Tactical.

Anyone raise and process their own hogs?

Graining 20 pigs will be a big investment but if you know how to raise animals and have the room I would do it then. We always sell meat to friends and family. Not by the pound, by the animal and they pay processing.

Anyone raise and process their own hogs?

Yes and it's a huge hobby. They're loud, filthy and hateful at times but..... they are delicious. If you do it, definitely have it processed by a reputable shop. If you have never raised anything before I would urge you to raise chickens or something like that before getting pigs.

    Suicide by cop?

Everytime I see these it makes me remember why I try to interact with strangers very little.

You know you're a Mall Ninja when...

So in your updated article he has spent $400 more than I have and is getting 3 inch groups at 100 yards with blaster ammo while I'm getting 7/8" with blaster. Plus my gun doesn't kick like a mule.

I'm confused why a red dot 223 is a bad deer rifle? If height over bore is your only argument then that's not much of one.

You know you're a Mall Ninja when...

The article you posted is of a guy with a 308 that shoots 2 inches at 100 yards. Mine is a 223 that shoots 7/8" at 100 yards with the cheapest ammo I could find. I'm still very lost as to why mine is useless and his is a great idea.

You know you're a Mall Ninja when...

This rifle WILL make a good group at 100. 7/8" of an inch with cheapo ammo.

If it's fun then its very useful to me.

You know you're a Mall Ninja when...

20.583. But that sounds like fun. The real pain will be wind. If I can get a camera rigged up I'll take videos of shooting my 22 at 500. I don't know how much drop it is but Im guessing it's somewhere above 50 feet judging by the telephone poles.

You know you're a Mall Ninja when...

I'm hoping to have it hit minute of person at 750. 2.5 ish MOA. It is a 223 so wind will be a HUGE factor and the combination may not even be capable of that but we will see.

When SHTF, Do You BUG OUT? or BUG IN?

Very much situation dependant but for most emergencies my plan is to bug in with about 8 to 10 people for as long as I can.
