    9mm AR upper questions

    1. Yes 2. Yes. Recessed barrels are cool....if you own a can, if not, I don't see the point and they could actually be dangerous.

    Overstock.com are preppers?

"But we have $10 million in gold and silver in denominations small enough … for payroll” I wonder what that ellipse is omitting. It's hard to imagine that much gold and silver chopped up into denominations small enough to hand out hourly employees paychecks.

    Thoughts on the Tok?

I've had several tt-33's over the years. Neat pistol, fun to shoot...very 1911ish. I ultimately got rid of them because I knew that they would never really appreciate in value and the sights really are somewhat....well....russian. The 7.62x25 round is a pocket rocket for sure, though.

Maybe a little bit, yeah...but I understand the sentiment.

    The Griffin Armament Optimus

It's both sad and cool, though. Dave was blazing trails no one even thought about with some of their stuff...and now that he's cut the trail, other people are coming down it. He's really a victim of his own success....which is probably a blessing and a curse.

    The Griffin Armament Optimus

It definitely seems more versatile than the Mystic X. Had I not already bought one of those, I'd be looking very, very hard at this. As it is, though, it doesn't do anything for me that another .30 cal can wouldn't, since I already have the modularity with the Mystic.

    AR9 build?

Nothing at aĺl, I love it. Just need a car more than I do this.

    AR9 build?

No, I was bartering....it's all part of the game, offer high, meet in the middle. And the only reason that I'm even trying to trade it is to get into a running vehicle before winter gets here. But please, don't let me stop your sanctimony. Also, lol @ "billet cast forged milled and stamped."

    AR9 build?

You're right and I get that. I started at 8 which is just north of what I have in it. I'd have gone for 6 & 1/2 but to come back at 450? It just seemed ridiculous to me.

High Risk Civilian Contractor: Direct Action

^^^ Clearly not Tier 1 SOCCOM.

High Risk Civilian Contractor: Direct Action

Yeah, that's my issue as well. I have zero problem with him requiring his own courses as prerequisites. If I was running a training outfit, I'd do the same thing. It assures that the student has the level of competency you feel that they need...and they have it via your instruction. That part...

High Risk Civilian Contractor: Direct Action

Fair enough....but by specifically calling out Delta and DEVGRU like that, I don't think your comparison holds up.

High Risk Civilian Contractor: Direct Action

Not to mention that ignoring the training and service of the rest of the SOCOM community and just honoring the previous experience of the JSOC guys seems pretty demeaning. I guarantee you that just about every SEAL, Ranger, and PJ out there are way more qualified to run the course than some guy...

High Risk Civilian Contractor: Direct Action

I know, I know...but I'm going to do it anyway. Does that read to anyone else like they are equating taking two classes with them as being on the same level as "Tier One SOCCOM"?

    The Griffin Armament Optimus

Which leads me to my next question.... @PewPewPewCo , what's the MSRP on this thing? I can easily see $1000+.
