Well I took it to the range today... I have no,idea how to flip the video the correct way. Anyway, that was with no muzzle device so it was spitting a huge fireball. I should have my 4 piece brake tomorrow and will test again this weekend. It was only a 75 foot range (GA firing line) but...

Well it's cut,files, sanded, crowned, and cold blues. Its just waiting for the 4 piece to come in the mail....

Those are fine guns....just heavy. Unless you have a huge stockpile of surplus corrosive 7.62x39 I wouldn't worry too much about chrome lining. That said I prefer chrome lined....1.0mm receivers do me just fine too.

Tomorrow I will crown it. I have a couple brass screws and valve lapping compound ready to go

Yeah you're right. I found another tile that is much coarser and should make this a 25 min job instead of an,hour.

Well the barrel is cut....I'm now working on filing and polishing the face in prep for crowning. I'm trying to eliminate this one last nick in the barrel face. Should I spend another couple hours filing or would it be ok to crown with that nick on the face?

Yeah high unless it's milled. Not terribly high but high. $700 or so depending on accessories maybe
