Anybody ever have any experience with these? They are rather tempting being an AK designed for 5.56 that was in use by the Polish Army. I could shoot it at the local indoor range with copper jacketed 5.56 and still get the benefit of training with the AK platform....

still a full length rifle so not NFA. It feels quite comfortable and is a result of the dual recoil spring/op rod set up it uses. Quite ingenious.

sort of. It can use AR mags, lowers ( with an adapter), and triggers. Otherwise it was design as a short stroke piston gun. The bolt/recoil setup is totally different...and it weighs damn near nothing. I think it's pretty awesome and the design is VERY simple. More than anything after the whole...

My biggest concern aside from the proprietary bolt/spring setup is the exposed piston action through the handguards. I'd be curious to see some mud/sand tests.

So I handled one of these at a gun shop...it was pretty awesome. Gas piston but it felt as lite as a DI AR....I was really digging the folding stock as well... Anybody have any experience with these? Any issues?

The CCP is a nice ergonomic gun let down by an ungodly gritty mess of a trigger....though objectively not terrible but it's godawful compared to the PPQ.
