Im just a Garandless Garand guy. Ive been a lever gun guy for many years too....

So I was planning on buying a Garand....but me being the weird guy that I am can't shake wanting a big bore lever gun....something Marlin in either .444, .45-70, or .450 Marlin. Talk some sense into me and keep me from buying a gun that is only marginally useful.....but oh so fun

I dont see the point in 5.45.....far too heavy. 54r is a whole different ball game....

Everything I've read said those are really only useful for 10 rounds before they drop in sound suppression dramatically....
