Metal Injection Molding.....basically a process in which powdered metal is formed/cast into a part. The average shooter will likely never break a well made MIM part...but at anything above $1000 I expect no MIM. Kimber started going to shit whwn they went MIM....

I don't get how SA can use MIM parts in the HRT/Professional model and charge $3k. MIM might be just fine but at that price point there is ZERO reason it should have MIM
