I’m currently using a .22 pellet rifle for that job, including the occasional groundhog/whistle pig/woodchuck, but accuracy is shit on those things unless you hit the lottery and find its preferred pellet. I bet if you ran .22short in yours it would sound quieter than snapping your fingers.

Evercore, just like @Balthaz has. Now I’m in the “waiting forever” game, but at least that’s better than the “haven’t decided yet, so the clock’s not even started yet” game! That 455 is a sweet little beast, and should be super quiet with a can on it.

Already got it - but it’s currently in pieces. I bought somebody’s Ruger 10-22 with a Green Mountain barrel on it, now I gotta tune it up. At the moment it has a cheap plastic stock, and I just got a huuuuge scope for it but haven’t even stuck it on yet. Trigger should be arriving soon, so...

After a few days of being sick I’m gonna feed the fuck out of it. Pork chops seasoned with: Rosemary, a dash of dill, salt, garlic, paprika and cinnamon. Maybe a dash of Turmeric if I can find it. Found it. Pan fried in a mix of olive oil, butter and bacon fat. ‘Cause FUCK being sick.
