    SGammo just got hammered on their CCI blazer 9mm bulk ammo. They had hundreds of cases in stock yesterday, now they show -20...never seen a negative number on there.

    My old 512 has been great. I don't really care about parallax since I'm shooting mostly at sub 100 meters, and I never shoot at sub 40 degrees or over 122.

    How to properly brake a new holster in.

    The squeak from a leather holster is one of my favorite sounds. Anyway, CRP leather conditioner, boot conditioner, saddle soap. Just make sure you don't get it so soft that it loses it's shape and retention abilities.

    My model "xyz" will do under an inch at 100 years..yadayada......this is exactly why I said choose the cheapest rifle you can get. They are ALL more than accurate enough for GA deer hunting. Optics are much more important. You can't hit what you can't see.

    With a $500 budget I'd buy the cheapest rifle and the best scope/rings I could with the money left over. When it comes to deer hunting, the optics are more important than the bullet launcher. Stick to .30 caliber.
