    Public toilets?

Ain't that the truth... can you imagine what might happen if the masses were to find out?

    Public toilets?

Well, it's my retirement. When the market drops, my 401K (well, "my" 401K) goes down with it. I feel like I know about as much as you do about Wall St. But somewhere in there I think it has a fairly direct effect on what we pay for things. That's a gut feeling, darn sure not a fact.

    Public toilets?

Weld it back together. Don't have any idea what kind of steel that is, so welding may not help one bit- other than to melt some of it.

    Public toilets?

Did they dovetail the head onto the hammer body? Weird. I think you can put that one in a frame and hang it on the wall now. Hammers are one thing the Japanese got right. Learned about these from a friend that built houses out in California during the 1970s and 80s...

    Looking to start reloading?

I can reload a box of 9mm 115 grain HPs or RNs for about five bucks- saves about $7 over store bought ammo. Not a ton of savings... however I can reload a box of 147 grain subsonic 9mm's for about the same price- much bigger savings (I don't know exactly what subs sell for- I've never bought...

Freeze Dried / MRE survival food reviews

There is probably a zero-percent-chance that I'll be testing your limits :) I'm probably talking three hundred bucks of less worth of stuff for a single purchase. I'll email you at that address regardless.

Ruger Precision Rifle.... 6.5 Creedmoor or .308?

While the 6.5 does have it's place, it is generally only preferable to .308 at 1,000 yards and over. Well, probably about 800 and over. It's tough to keep .308 supersonic over about 800 yards. Once a projectile crosses the super/sub sonic line it becomes unstable because the shock wave...

Well, if I have to drive up there again, at least I know where the store is located! Given the cost of gasoline, could I pay the store for cases shipped in advance? Just guessing this is a 'group buy' pricing scenario.

    Public toilets?

The big problem I see here is that another person willing to carry a gun isn't carrying anymore. That's a -1 for our side. And I absolutely refuse to return a weapon to a holster that is attached to me. Take the damn thing off- even if you have to take your pants off to do it (hopefully...

    Public toilets?

Glue traps are the shit. Just don't be fooled by a mouse looking at you from a glue trap... they will get off that thing unless they are smashed flat against it... Smash/shoot/katana that thing as soon as you see it. And bait with peanut butter.

    Looking to start reloading?

Personally I'd recommend starting with a used single stage press. Starting with the single stage lets you get used to all the steps- using a progressive press takes a lot of attention just to be sure of what you're doing. However once you are used to it all and have rolled a couple thousand...

MRE beef stroganoff in a more or less vacuum sealed pack. I think these were about 3 bucks each.

Freeze Dried / MRE survival food reviews

I'll have to try that one. I did get to sample a bunch of them at the last TruPrep meet- they probably had eight or ten flavors cooked throughout the day. I didn't think any were bad. I'm not necessarily a Mtn House fan boy, it's just all I've really had any experience with- I stayed away...

    Public toilets?

I hear ICBM rocket engines in the background when I get to half a tank. The only way to shut them up is to refill the gas tank. I try to keep at least 150 miles of range in the truck all the time.

I can't disagree with most of what you've got there @AirOpsMgr . I'm a fan of Mountain House over the other freeze dried commercial brands. It is more expensive, but has a huge shelf life (I've heard 20 years in reasonably stable indoor conditions) and it's light weight and reasonably easy to...

Looks like I built a AR 9 now......

I've got to clean the AR9 and will post a pic or two of the bottom of the BCG and my hammer- my hammer is a standard, non-notched hammer. The BCG is whatever came with the PSA kit.

Shot my PSA today... lot of fun. Definitely needs a SBR'd lower and a stock.
