Freeze Dried / MRE survival food reviews

It's been awhile, but I did find a couple that I was OK with eating. And I really did trash some of them after a bite or two- and I normally will not throw away food. I'm pretty sure that the "good" ones were Sierra trail mix or something with a similar name. I don't remember trying the...

Freeze Dried / MRE survival food reviews

I'm glad you mentioned this- When on sale for a dollar each, I've bought some Cliff bars at Kroger. Some of those have been absolutely terrible. There was one (it's been a while since I've dared try them again) that was OK- I think it was the Sierra trail mix bar or something? Mostly tasted...

    Public toilets?

That would be Mom's drink of choice as well. For a $20ish handle, it ain't bad!

    Public toilets?

Reading this thread and taking notes... about time to get another bottle of bourbon. Anybody want a bottle of JD Honey? God that stuff is sweet. I should have paid more attention before buying it the last time I was in Indiana. It's on that Sweet Tea Vodka level of bad.

    Public toilets?

Well, sure- they can just make up the rules as they go along. It's fine so long as no one moves away from that area. If ze leave there, ze're going to sound like dumb asses.

    Public toilets?

If the pictures are right, I'd assume some of those bills are worth (slightly) more than face value. Sorry I don't have more to add- just trying to give you something for the night shift.

    Public toilets?

I'd have to assume they passed away without needing the money. Ask me why I spent two days in my grandparent's attic looking for mason jars in the middle of the summer. Ok- don't ask... Granddad hid it up there at some point and he thought it was in the insulation over the bathroom...

    Public toilets?

Hephzibah children's home in Macon- Take the Zebulon road exit off I-475, turn to the left. The children's home entrance is on the right just past the Lake Wildwood traffic light.

    Public toilets?

I'm afraid this is exactly what I was going to say. I could not believe the prices of tickets for the rides... I gave each of my kids $20 worth of tickets and they were done in about half an hour. And it was shoulder to shoulder people around the Midway. I like the exhibits they have in...

    Glock finger grooves

Nope. I like the grooves... but that's just me. Dad stippled the fuck out of a G30 and he's very happy with it. That's the only pistol I will sell or return to Glock when he passes away.

    Socks!

Oh- gotcha. Well, you have dibs on my lightly used socks if I don't like them ;)

    Glock thread barrel recommendations

I have LWD's for most of the 9mms and a SL in a G21. The storm lake looks a little nicer, but not worth the extra hundred bucks in my opinion. The SL was all I could find in stock when I needed a threaded G21 barrel. I literally had an Octane 45 for a couple months and nothing to attach it...

    Socks!

Oh I like them- just not sure what else is out there. I may pick up a pair of smart wool socks next time I'm in Academy- I'm fairly sure I've seen them there.

    Public toilets?

I'm in favor of banning lines being drawn. I think that's when the shit really hits the fan anyway.

    Public toilets?

While I do agree with you from the University's perspective, I think this was an off campus house. Frankly, it should not have probably been associated with a "officially sanctioned" university entity, but I still think it's funny. Had those signs been hung above an apartment door, no one...

    Socks!

I have not tried Smart Wool, but I do wear almost exclusively Thorlos thick pad hiking socks. Although the five year old pairs are about toast now. Finally wore through the soles. They are slowly getting tossed in the trash. Most of them are still fine, but that's the only birthday present I...

    Southeast traders lower!

I'd be really surprised if you could get them machined for under a hundred bucks apiece. I'd probably expect closer to 150. The blank lowers are cheap enough, but the time on a CNC to do the logo has to be at least 30 minutes. Divide the programming cost and setup over 100 or so parts and it...

    Public toilets?

I run 93 octane in my truck because it keeps the valves from making a lot of noise when the engine is under load. Anybody want to know what octane is and why it matters? Gasoline is made up of octane and heptane. It's just the length of the hydrocarbon molecule- same atoms, slightly longer...
