    Friends with big...................................................

I've never actually talked to him- I've seen the car before at the Harrison Road Wal-Mart... and noticed the alcohol warnings on the windows and kind of drew my own conclusions.

    Friends with big...................................................

Is this the guy with the station wagon that has shit glued to it everywhere? I think I'm over my interest in anything moonshine- one small whiff and all I can think of it soured corn catfish bait.

    Guns you hated the most?

Well, trust me- the only way that lady was leaving with a bottle of Juicy Juice was with someone's help...

    Guns you hated the most?

This reminded me... there was a legitimate midget, aka little person, at Kroger when I was shopping with the kids a week or two ago. I was buying poweraid for the kids and I hear someone ask "excuse me sir, could you hand me one of those"... of course I helped her with the apple juice on the...

Yeah- I know a guy in Crawford Co that could occupy a small town for a few weeks.

    Guns you hated the most?

I traded a guy a Beretta Minx in .22 short, about twelve boxes of Remington .22 short, and $200 for the P99. And it came with either four or five Walther mags. I was very happy with the deal.

    Guns you hated the most?

Shoot- I wish I'd known this- I had my P99AS at the range when we had the meet and greet.

    Guns you hated the most?

I've read this before about the P7's- the gas cylinder is drilled into the frame just over/in front of the trigger. It gets hot as hell apparently after a dozen shots.

    Dirtiest EDC contest

Ok- I typed it and deleted it.... so "Insert Ex Wife Joke Here" Off to take pictures. That thing hasn't been cleaned in a good long while, so I am expecting a crap ton of lint on it. We shall see... It doesn't start out too bad looking (the pictures are right side up on my computer)...

Favorite hydration pack for outdoor activities?

By the way- that link has some extra characters at the front of it.

Favorite hydration pack for outdoor activities?

Camelbak in a Condor II pack... seems to work really well the few times I've hiked with it. I need a couple of cheaper options for the kids to wear- I'm tired of carrying their poweraid/water bottles for them. They're old enough to pack their own drinks and snacks now.

How much light is too much?

Ha... yeah- lights can definitely be too bright to use. I was inspecting a house once with my new O-light headlamp. I was impressed because I could see darn near all the way across the crawlspace with it on high. And then I raised my head up right beside an a/c duct... you know, the kind...

    Recipe Who Loves Sushi?

Honestly, I don't know what imitation crab meat is made from... I guess some of it could be that "textured soy protein" stuff or something else soy based... I don't know. I do know that most of it tastes kind of like crab. Sort of.

    Recipe Who Loves Sushi?

Careful... most Cali rolls are rice wrapped in nori (seaweed "paper") with pieces of carrot, avocado, and imitation crab meat in the middle.

    Recipe Who Loves Sushi?

There's plenty of cooked sushi and vegetarian sushi. Heck, it's mostly rice anyway. I just remembered something Kobayashi said once... we were talking about American sushi and he goes off on this rant about avocados... and how the hell did some American throw avocado into Japanese food... He...

    Recipe Who Loves Sushi?

Back in my early 20's I worked in R&D for the world's largest zipper manufacturer. I played "tech support" during some of the higher level salesman trips around NYC and other "fashion" places. Anyway, being a Japanese company, we always had a few of their guys with us. Dinners were always...

The perfect ammo for suppressor use?

Agreed. That's one of the reasons I went to the copper plated bullets- no exposed lead. Although it's just a copper plate, which is extremely thin. And the plated bullets are cheaper- that was the main motivator.

The perfect ammo for suppressor use?

Sweet- if it works that much better than copper (as I assume costs less to process/purchase/apply/etc) I think that they have a real winner here.

The perfect ammo for suppressor use?

Well, now that's taking the safety orange tips on guns to a new place :) Interesting what they claim in the article. Seems to be quite positive, so long as we're not going to be replacing lead and copper fouling with polymer fouling. One big problem I have with lacquer coated ammo (and...

    Fear and Firearms Values

I have to remind myself that there are always people turning 18 (or 21) that will want particular guns... and plenty of complacent people that never got around to buying this or that... I think those groups would drive the demand (and price) of those more common "hi cap" guns up, at least initially.
