Had I been into suppressors 10 years ago, I'd be in the same boat, but most of what I've bought has been 115 fmj's since they were the cheapest.
Now I'm playing catch up.....and winning!
I don't have that many, and there are a lot that I'd still like to have some day. Probably a Daewoo, a Galil, maybe a Valmet, HK 94, etc etc etc.
I like all of those guns more than money.
None. Not a one.
I love owning, fondling and shooting my naughty guns. Money doesn't interest me much, and I can make more.
Hell, I might even end up buying more at ridiculous prices.
Yep, just a tiny, pointy piece of lead. I've read warnings on several suppressor sights saying not to shoot the 60gr. SSS load through their cans either.
The powderless ones will penetrate one side of a soup can...sometimes.
They're super quiet, at least the Aguila Super Colibri's were. I used to shoot them in the basement. Quieter than my bb gun. Don't shoot the powderless ammo through a suppressor though, or their 60gr. SSS load.
What's a good ratio of supersonic vs. subsonic ammo to have on hand? I've gotten into the NFA game later than most, (still waiting on cans) so my supply of subsonic pistol ammo is lacking a bit.
Right now I'm at about a 7.5 : 1 (super vs. sub) ratio.
I'll probably still shoot a lot of...
