    Unfortunately, with the 669 you’re stuck with either the factory grips, or Pachmayr rubber grips that have steel inside them. Doesn’t fix the huge blocky feel, IMHO makes it worse. Best way to fix that problem on a 669 is to shoot too much +P+ through it, crack the frame, and send it back to...

    The 6906 is a better gun. Better sights, if you like Novak’s, but more importantly the 669 has a 3-piece grip that can (not often) warp and pinch. But the one-piece wraparound grips on the 6906 are also slightly smaller in circumference, and feel less like grabbing a 2x4.
