I can't say much in the way of actually shooting with a can, but I will say the SR22 I had was a really fun pistol. Very reliable, and I know they offer a threaded barrel version of it. My next will be a mark 4. I've shot a mark 2 or 3 suppressed and it did really well.

I'm with @freedom . Bring a reliable 22 preferably with a higher capacity and easier sights to use. Whether it's a red dot or peep sight. I find new shooters typically struggle more with the old buckhorn style sights. Make sure to give them a large enough target to where they can hit it fairly...

I'm just as close to Dallas as I am Temple. Lol. Just over next to Rose's store. I might take you up on that one day. I need to try my RRA Varminteer first. I haven't even had a chance to take it out yet.

I've looked at these several times. They're a really cool concept. And you can't beat the price. I've heard several people say they shot good, but never how good. That's impressive. Damn impressive.

My mother in law parked in the cul-de-sac one day and our mail lady wrote us am ugly note saying how her car was "impeding" delivery. She was on the other side of the driveway nowhere like 25' from the mailbox! What do you mean impeding delivery? Did you have to do some evasive maneuvers or...

Bunch of ass hats. My mail lady is too lazy to get out of her truck and put anything on our porch. Instead she takes it back to the post office and makes me go pick it up myself.... They don't care about our dreams as they crush them and make us wait....

Damn it! @Laufen ! I have enough projects as it is! Now I'm sitting here looking at antique Daisy Model 25 takedown BB guns.... I always wanted one when I was a kid, and all this talk of nostalgia has rekindled that. The good news is it will cost considerably less than my arctic AR project.

By today's standards they're slow. ~650 fps best I remember. But with the heavier .22 they would make a hellacious (?) thump and drop a squirrel in its tracks. We even used them to dispatch possums and racoons we caught in our traps with one shot. I have several scoped break action pellet rifles...
