What they want and what they get passed are 2 different things; sure, they'll shoot for the moon with all sorts of legislation, bans, etc; what will actually get passed is another story. <Keeping fingers and toes crossed>

I'm just thinking that is as far as they'll get with it, could be wrong. Wouldn't be surprised to see a high cap mag law go into play along with it, but I'm personally not seeing a confiscation being likely

Understood, just stating what happened in my case, and honestly, I'm not sure I believe it's battery related. I've since read that the same thing occurs with bad contacts, so who knows. On a side note, the other thing I'm not a fan of is how easily the optic can be turned on when in a case...
