Actually, I was just jerking his chain. Personally, I'm a X39 fan just for price & availability sake. I was fortunate enough to shoot his 5.45 and it was mighty fine, so I could see going with 5.45 if I was sitting on a bunch of ammo

Gotcha; I'm working with 3 stripped Anderson lowers and Anderson LPKs, 3 PSA stock kits; leaning towards PSA for the uppers, but might go SOTA on the X39 ..... if I can ever make my mind up ;)

I'm not too worried about suppressing 9mm in an AR if all that I've read about it is true, at the end of the day, it would still be a cool AR even without a can. While 300 BO can be suppressed pretty efficiently with subs, the cost of ammo compared to X39 is a huge difference. I've had a X39...

But the Octane 45 is not rated for 458 :( Honestly, the only reason I was considering 300 BO was because I have a can that can do it, and the reason I thought about X39 was due to ammo cost.
