I think my Guardian was quieter before I upgraded it to the Kestrel, but cleaning the Kestrel is definitely easier. If I had to do it over again I wouldn't have upgraded.

It wasn't. Look at the gun they are using. It is a M&P 15-22. Still nuts, but there is a big difference between what was probably a CCI quite 22 LR moving at 700fps and a full speed 62gr 5.56.

Bike Nashbar always has some sweet deals running. That's where my last road bike came from, and where my next one will as well. I raced mountain bikes in high school and only rode Specialized mountain bikes, but my road bikes were always Nashbar.

Glock will be happy to refinish it for you. If memory serves me correctly they charge 45 dollars to redo a slide. Of course, they only do them in Black. If I remember correctly, the FDE Cerakote or Duracoat (which is what it looks like) is something done aftermarket by Lipsy's, not Glock.
