    Buyer wants guns serial number

I could understand asking if the party wanted to run the numbers through NCIC before buying .....

Is anyone else meh about suppressors?

I felt the same way for a very long time, but after trying some at the range, I became more interested. Personally, my reason was for HD and for when I shoot at people's property where they don't want to piss off the neighbors with excess gunfire. I'm having the same conflict though about...

I'm sure this has been asked a thousand times.

I'm not experienced enough to speak to that, so I won't speculate - maybe @PewPewPewCo / @NWS could chime in on the effectiveness of that

I'm sure this has been asked a thousand times.

Bear in mind that .22 is vastly more dirty than 5.56 and leads to lead build up much more quickly, it will be a PITA to clean in a sealed 5.56 can. A user serviceable 5.56 can would give you the ability to clean .22 lead out, but as mentioned above, now you have a larger / heavier can. One of...

    Ultrasonic cleaners - your input?

I read on the internet that chlorine and ammonia mixed together works well .... supposed to sniff the fumes to get rid of a cold at the same time :noidea:

    Ultrasonic cleaners - your input?

I'll try it later, if the sights get screwed up, you can buy me new ones

    Ultrasonic cleaners - your input?

Yeah, I figured it out, turn the unit on, hit the heater button and don't start the US cycle until the heater light turns red. I was an idiot and actually followed the instructions the first couple times, it said to start the heater after the US began

If you want, I'll come over with my pellet gun and just shoot at you while you try a bunch of different tactics

    Ultrasonic cleaners - your input?

I've been running all kinds of parts through it today, I'm just too scared to drop night sights in yet It did a heck of a job on my BCGs as well as my .22 conversion (that thing was pretty nasty), I've been reading on a few different forums that the majority of folks have not had any problems...

    Ultrasonic cleaners - your input?

I've run mine a couple of times today not realizing that the heater light turns red once it hits max temp. Once the solution was fully heated, I noticed a bigger difference. Using the Lyman sonic solution to start with, still have a couple of spots in a few baffles that needed wiped out, but...

    Ultrasonic cleaners - your input?

I'll try a slide a little later on after I have time to break one down all the way (have my can baffles taking a swim at the moment)

    Ultrasonic cleaners - your input?

Got mine in, haven't tried it yet, but here are pics with a 1911 (can't fit the frame and slide in at the same time). I'm a little leery to run a slide with night sights until I do more research, so going to start off with BCGs, pistol internals, etc to start.

    Mak 90?

I'm sure it would go something like this: Govt: Why do you have this Owner: I just found it in a box of stuff my dad gave me Govt: Okay, we see it as intent, meet Bubba, he'll be your cell mate for the next 25 years

    Jack of all trade cans

If it's a user-serviceable can, yes. I shot about 300 rounds of CCI standard velocity through my octane (with 9mm endcap) on an AR with a 22 conversion kit; all you really hear is the rifle action and the bullet striking the target.

    Jack of all trade cans

I can only speak to the Octane 45, does well with .45, 9mm & .22; haven't had a chance to try it with 300 yet. Swapping out the 45 endcap with a 9 endcap is supposed to drop .22 down a couple more decibels, but I couldn't really tell the difference. In any event, I think I'm going to stick with...

    Airsoft

lol, now don't get me wrong, I have nothing against airsoft, if it helps you train, I'm all for it. I just wanted to make sure that when you said "airsoft" you didn't also mean that you dressed up like a retard and started shouting a bunch of nonsensical alpha-numeric codes to nonexistent...
