    Got a newer SIG P229?

If you have a newer SIG P229 with a roll pin as the firing pin positioning pin, you may wanna contact SIG. If your firing pin positioning pin is a solid pin, no worries. Possibly pertains to other models as well, but I cannot say for sure.

Whats up with all the "Boutique" guns?

High end 1911's are definitely competition guns. Popular in USPSA Single Stack.

Ordered Sons of Liberty Gunworks M4

Ran exactly 200 rounds of Federal XM193 today with no issues, all out of PMags. Shot just over 2MOA, prone unsupported, @ 100yds. Recoil was smooth n' easy. Geissele trigger is very nice, of course. Smooth take up, then a crisp, light break. Ran 30 rounds of Hornady TAP 70grn GMX Barrier...

    Project Gun

You don't have to pull the barrel to make a casting, but that is the best way to do it. I'm guessing the barrel isn't marked anywhere?

    Project Gun

Looks rebarreled, so it could be 6.5x55mm Swede.

    Beretta APX

I'm an unabashed fan of the Beretta 92 platform, and Beretta in general, so I'd like to try out the APX. Beretta tends to make a solid firearm, I even like the rotary barrel lockup system they use in the PX4 system. I had a "G" model PX4 .45 in FDE that honestly rivaled my SIG P220 for...

    Long Range Muzzle Device

If you're going with an 18" 5.56, I would run a good flash hider that utilizes a silencer mount, like the Silencerco ASR Flash Hider (or whatever works for any proposed can). An 18" rifle is heavy enough to help mitigate whatever minor recoil the 5.56 has, and I'm more worried about muzzle...

    Long range reticle.

Not a fan of BDC reticles for precision shooting. A well-designed mil or MOA reticle, with matching turrets, works with everything. Mil-dots will work fine, although something like a Gen2, or one of the modern reticles that use hashmarks instead of dots, work better for most folks. Lots...

A typical rifle barrel is worn out in 5-10 seconds of use
