If you do 5 instead of 10 you miss two shooting stages. As a young firefighter you should have no problem completing the 10k. (which is kind of a 12k)

You must complete a "5k" or "10k", or both....carrying centerfire rifle, centerfire pistol, all ammo water, etc...you need. Along the way there are shooting stations, they change somewhat from event to event, but the gist is this: RO tell you course of fire for the stage, you have 2 minutes...
