    The only problem with the vault door option is both walls it would be attaching to are interior walls with no way of reinforcing. That's why I am looking at more concealment than security. I am looking at doing a Murphy door type book shelf.

    So if your a tightwad how are you in this predicament? A. You spent the money on the gun B. You want to devalue the gun with your spray paint skills C. Maybe you should just bedazzled it (awesome taste) So just spend the money and do it right.
