I read on the other forum that Cheaper Than Dirt has started selling firearms again after some changes. I smell a rat here.

That makes perfect sense Rich. I would also think that how "hot" the round is would make a difference too. I would think (I don't know) that a big slow round like my .45 could also become unstable at longer distances.

It also appears that while CTD is not selling firearms, they are selling high capacity mags and have doubled the price. Nice.

I also saw on a show about M16's, sorry I can't remember which one, that after a certain long distance the bullet can become unstable in flight and cause the keyhole situation. The person said that it could happen to any bullet once it slows to the point it no longer "flies" properly.

I don't do much with them either since they tried to charge me double for shipping because it was coming from 2 different warehouses. I told them that wasn't my problem and cancelled to order. I guess I am done with them all together now.

My guess is trying to be PC instead of pro 2nd amendment......but just a guess.

Apparently Bob had been treated for a mild heart attack. He was being driven home by his wife and he began to have chest pains again. Apparently he died from a second heart attack. My favorite shooter of all time has passed away. He will be missed by many people, not just for his shooting...
