I only plan to use subs for this application. I wouldn't shoot it a lot it would only be to shoot suppressed and AAC says you can shoot subs but never supers. The first baffle is steel and the rest are aluminum.

Not from what I've read. With the subsonic level of course not supersonic and in this case that's the whole reason for shooting this rifle.

There's no adapter made by AAC to go from the 5/8 30 cal threads to the 1/2x28 on the can.

@Righter13 im taking the easier route on this. Having it threaded I guess would be easier than finding an adapter I think. Who would even make an adapter for that. If I could get another can I would. Believe me.

Ok my AAC Tirant 9s is close to being approved I hope at 5 months on the 29th give or take. So here's my setback I'm gonna use this on my pistol however I'd like to mount this on a 300 BLK AR and shoot subsonics but there's no adapter. I talked to AAC they said try QRF and they said get the 300...

Great info and links @DarthVader I've wondered how to reduce gas with add ons. I looked at the WAR upper and Gemtech BCG but the BRT custom tune gas port is a better budget friendly application and a good permanent fix. I'm anxious to see the range report
