    well the upper showed up today. Much to my surprise it is already threaded 1/2x28 so that is a great thing. Unfortunately the mag block isn't in the box so now I have to track down the seller and beat it out of him.

    Honestly though for true "backup" iron sites, there is nothing wrong with Magpul. I'll give people crap about them, but they are incredible value and do work well, especially as a backup to a primary optic.

    I hate the company with a passion, but Troy makes an incredible BUIS. If my rifle has an A2 FSB (which most of mine do, I usually use Matech BUIS on the rear, but if I need a front and rear set I go Troy.

    Also, you can build a PSA cheaper because when you build it yourslef, you aren't paying federal excise tax. PSA factory built rifles are considerably more expensive than parts kits.

    If PSA outsells them, they still sell their product. PSA is paying them more money for receivers than they will ever make selling their own rifles.

    Seeing as how AP is making receivers for all their competition (PSA, Spikes, etc.) I am sure they will do just fine.
