    Just go w a standard set up but wrap paracord around the buffer tube so it's not "readily" convertible.

    The PRO absolutely will. There's not a damn thing wrong it it except I wish it took AA batteries. Other than that it's a fine optic, comes with lenses covers and a QD mount that is solid.

    If you're saving then save for the PRO or the t1/h1 I started with a PRO and moved to a T1 just due to weight. Still have the PRO but on a different rifle. Aim point or get out when it comes to a life and liberty gun.

    If you're going to stick w 16inch I'd consider 7.62 or 6.8 I loved my 6.8 but got rid of it bc I can't hunt with a semi auto up here.

    I believe anything over 9inch (don't remember if it's exactly 9) is a waste. As the 300 was designed so that all of the powder burned rather quickly.

    Getting ready to roll out the door in less than 30 days with a unit that is 90% slick sleeves including the BC,CO and 1SG. It's been a total shit show getting everything ready to go. Other than that things are just fine.
