    Dad doesn't keep possession of them. They stay with me, which is why I file paperwork when I visit. But yes it could be an issue unless I check "not returning" on the form and put his address.

    Depends where the registry states it "resides" I live in PA and so do my SBRs. When I visit GA where my dad lives (he's a trustee) I file the paperwork for travel. Each year I file the forms for any place I MAY go. They're good for a year so it's not a huge deal.
