    Mosin-Nagant Type 53

Nice catch Rich! Now all you need is a spam can of ammo (you probably already have one) and have fun. BubbaDX is right....HUGE fireball, especially when shooting at dusk. When I shoot my M44, the tree branches and grass sway all the way downrange. Fun Fun Fun. :D

    My Nano

Welcome 2ndAmentNut to the forum from Iowa! I have never been able to get a hold of a Nano to compare size/feel to other concealable guns, but it has always interested me. Sounds like a dependable carry piece, and that's what it is all about.

    What are you carrying today?

I don't have as many carry options as a lot of you guys do, I'm usually packing my LC9 or LCP and sometimes even both. Never without.

380 Side mount laser for LCP?

I wonder why Laserlyte discontinued that model? I have a Lasermax that came on my LCP, but never use it. I would take it off, but then I would have to shop for holsters again.

Lehigh Defense 380 Auto Xtreme Penetrator ammunition

Seems like more and more gimmicky ammo is coming out.....makes me wonder what the price is on that stuff. If it's anything like the RIP cnc machined ammo, it is out of reach regardless of how it tests.

    What are you carrying today?

    What are you carrying today?

Lcp in my ankle rig and FRANKENGUN.......870 express with Mossberg (made for Rem) rifled/cantilevered slug barrel, scope, mag tube extension, aftermarket synthetic furniture. Son and I needed to throw some sabots downrange to check the scope for zero before he goes to southern IA for his...

    What are you carrying today?

Geez Rich! It's waaaay too cold here to sit around in the skivvies. I know, I know......throw more logs on the fire. Glad to hear about the progress made by your wife. Tell her to keep it up, and we are keeping her in prayers. BTW carrying LC9 in the waistband.....my son borrowed Elsie...

    Comments for the "Reloading glossary"

Skip....I agree with Rich. This is a cool thing you are putting together. I've reloaded for my shotguns, but not handgun or rifle loads-yet. And I'll admit that there were a couple of terms that I had heard before, but wasn't sure of the meaning. Thanks, and glad it'll be a sticky for future...

    Gun adoption

Rich, you make it sound easy, and I'm sure it is. My 1st experience with Tapatalk ended badly....uninstalled it....I'll try again later (my android is only recently my friend). Photobucket account started. I'll need to have one of my sons give assistance. I get along ok with my computer, but...

    Gun adoption

Thanks Rich. I was able to transfer some pictures from my android phone to my laptop (that was an accomplishment in itself), then trying to load pictures directly from my files. Will give photobucket a try this evening. I assume that will re-size the pix to the proper size? I've been wanting...

    Gun adoption

I don't have any pix yet of the Hiawatha, but I've been trying to post a couple of pictures of an 870 project I did just to figure it out. Not having any luck. Will have to corner one of my boys to help. My pictures are too large, I think.....1.2 MB. I'm getting one of those headaches.......

I'll have to see if I can master the art of pix posting. Never done it before.

    Gun adoption

Over the past few years, I've stumbled across a few odd and obscure guns. I purchased a 6.5 Carcano sporterized (Bubba'd) and a Stevens 124 cross-bolt repeater 12 ga. shotgun. Bought the pair for $40. Not sure if they were worth it, but fun to tinker with. Bought a few neglected Rem 870's...

    What are you carrying today?

Have my LC9 in the waistband---while working on another old (1963 Wingmaster) 870 that I rescued from a pawn shop. LCP still on my ankle, where it usually resides during my work day.
