It's a good thing in my mind, if you're willing to go through the training to be "certified" to carry then you've shown the responsibility to do so. I thought some time back maybe like 6 or 7 years ago that there was a campus in Texas that you could carry on as well although I could be mistaken

Myself all I've ever carried was my G22 and then my G19 with a spare magazine, I never really gave any thought to carrying a backup before, anybody else have thoughts on this? I was thinking like either a G42 .380 in an ankle holster or a p938 in the same configuration

I've never used steel case in my AR's but have went through many many rounds with my AK, fires just fine through it and definitely alot cheaper than brass case ammunition

To much cash invested for me to do that, however I've got no problem shooting 500 rds out of my ar's then cleaning, now my bolt rifles are my baby's and they're pretty much always clean
