Can I get a good 9mm can with tax stamp for under $600. I just bought a CZ Scorpion and it seems they suppress well. This would be my first can also.

I have one of these: http://www.quietriotfirearms.com/product_p/hag9.htm

About $521 sales tax, can, and tax stamp. Not a bad can by any means- however it is a shade heavy. At least slightly heavier than the Tirant 9 I have. Given the choice between the two, the Tirant is definitely nicer. They sound the same to me, but the Tirant is a little lighter and has more machined details like a fancy end cap.

I also got a hell of a deal on the Tirant when they were on sale everywhere for like $350 or $400 last year or year before last. Give @DoglegArms a shout for pricing on what he can get. I met him and he's a great guy to deal with.

I'm waiting on the octane 45 to go on sell so it can fill multi roles, but while on a 9 it suppresses better than a 9 can with only addition of a 9mm end cap.

Save your money, don't buy the 9mm endcap. I bought one for mine, and it worked just as well without it.

Even the supersonic is still safe without hearing protection and it looks like those are standard sites on that G17 and seem to work fine with the Gemtech.

The booster on these are awesome. Many small shops thread their cans to fit the multi mount LID.

LOOKING AT YOU DOBBS!

Wow, didn't think it would be THAT different

I've said it before, but when I got my first can (Guardian 9) all I had was 115 grain ammo. This was during the great gun panic also- no projectiles or subsonic ammo to be found. I took it to the range with the 115's and shot it... I was literally thinking "what the fuck did I buy this thing for?"

Hearing safe or not, I don't know. But I did have a bit of ring in my ears shooting under the metal roof at the gun club pistol range.

Subs are a different animal all together.
