I've had an AAC Tirant 9 for a long while now and all the sudden it stops my Glock 19 from cycling and gets hung up on itself. I can only really explain this with pics, so here they are. Any ideas?

This is what it should look like, but I have to manually pull it back to this position.

Do you have the booster spring installed?

Clean the springs and piston and teeth where piston makes contact. I bet it’s just gunked up

I honestly don’t even know where to start. Some of these pieces I could never reach the insides.

Is it steel or aluminum? If steel, dip it.

Good to know. That betch hasn’t been lubed in the 5+ years I’ve been shooting with this can.

I had the same issue with my Gemtech, it was dry as a bone. Cleaned it up and put a little light grease on the piston and contact surfaces and it works like a champ.

Good to know. I have cleaned it a handful of times but don’t recall ever lubing anything other than the inside of the actual tube. That was just so that I could get it back apart after 500-1000 more rounds though. I will try cleaning it real good and lubing the piston.

This actually makes a lot of sense considering the piston and that outer part touching it are the ones that appear to be getting stuck on one another.

Likely a good cleaning.

Watch slow motion of the booster, learn how much its movement helps with cycling. Doesn't seem like it's much to mess up.

Also, make sure your piston isn't grooved. Hard to tell in pictures. Lube you piston and spring, red lock tite on ASAP parts unless you want them backing off.
