You means Dobbs?

I typically will take along a Sparrow 22 to test side by side...no one has been able to tell a difference yet. I personally think our can is quieter but it would be cool to see what numbers you come up with.

I've got the numbers, and I'll post them after I get drunk and party tonight. Seriously on a rifle this thing is right at or better than a Spectre 2 by the numbers.

I didn't have any noticeable blowback on the pistol. The pistol numbers were good too, but I'll need to compare them to some others before making relative statements.

We had some other cool findings today, one of which I'll leak a little before I write the article, the great debate of the 1911 vs Glock for the quieter pistol host.

I had a chance to go shoot the Arc 22at DD a couple of weeks ago with my 10/22(still waiting on my approval so couldn't take it home). I also shot a spectra 2 and an AAC Prodigy in the same day with the same host. To my ears the ARC 22 performed as well if not better than the other 2 cans. Now if I can just get approved I will be a happy man.

Finally got some meter data on the ARC22 silencer. Bill over at NFATALK.ORG was gracious enough to make the trip down from Indiana to let some guys across the industry get independent, 3rd party, unbiased numbers. I can't say thanks enough to NFATALK.ORG because without them it would be hard for a small company like us to get any viable meter time. Also, big thanks to David at Liberty Suppressors for hosting the event. It was a real class act.

Metering done per mil spec. Info can be found here: http://nfatalk.org/forum/showthread.php?t=221

Metering was done with 2 Bruel & Kjaer 2209 meters. One located at 1 meter left in front of the rifle. One was located at left ear of shooter.

Microphones used were Bruel & Kjaer 4136

Meters were calibrated with 4231 sound calibrator

ARC22 was metered on Savage FVSR 16" barrel with CCI standard velocity ammunition. String of 30 shots fired:

Average at 1m front of rifle 118.85Db

Average at ear 116.32

Unsupressed 141.2Db

We are VERY pleased with the results.
