you pack your shit up and leave with that talk of un floating the barrel. We don't welcome your kind here
No, you don't "un-float" it, you just basically extend the contact the barrel has with the receiver. It's locked into the receiver anyway, you're simply beefing that connection up. As long as the harmonics are repeatable (which they are with bedding) your accuracy will not be negatively affected. 100% of the time that I've bedded this part of the barrel I've seen accuracy improvements.

Here's a pic of what I'm talking about. Just bedding a small section in front of the recoil lug. This is common practice to prevent sagging, and a lot of precision rifle companies do something similar.

I think this would really help @SouthernSlammed

will certainly look into it! Especially since I would like to make this gun accurate at long distances.

What about H-S Precision or McMillan stock replacement. Pricey but may be another option as well.

Try bedding the barrel. Ruger won't give a shit because they will say they didn't design the gun to shoot suppressed. If this will be a dedicated setup for suppressed shooting, adjust the scope to get back on 0" at 100 yds. If it is dead low, consider switching to a BDC reticle and figure out which line to use for suppressed shooting. JMHO

Had an issue with my 22 barrels and ARC22. I called Brian and he rechecked the barrels and upgraded the supressor. Now wither on or off its dead on for 22. Can`t speak for the 30. 1st runs had some tweeks needed during manufacture but he takes care of it. I have seen hunting shows PIGMAN where he proved POI shift during a hunt with supressor

My ARC30 can shoots about 1.5" low at 40 yards compared to my Harvester 762. Removing all cans and shooting same ammo from same box and all 3 of my guns shot just over an inch high at 40 yards over the Harvester 762. 2 Ruger American Predator 308 and DPMS LR308 were the hosts for this time. You are looking at 27oz, 13oz and 0 added to the end of the barrel making the POI changes.
