that'sa

agreed from now on I will get @Laufen to proof read my posts.

Anyways.... The training we received was great. The respect we were given was great.

I not only learned new skills I learned what my weak points are in regards to skill and gear.

Biggest skill flaw is that I would be more concerned about getting rounds off first vs getting hits first. The hits are what matters.

Equipment wise the only thing I'm going to change is my rifle light set up. I had a tlr-1 on there but I was constantly hitting the switch on one thing or another. I have since ordered a remote for it.
How did you feel about your battle belt and PC setup after the class? Any changes?

Both were fine. I found that I went for rifle mags off the belt first. Then when I had the chance I moved them from my chest rig to the belt. I do believe I will be investing in the H harness for it. It was fine this weekend bc I was wearing a "combat shirt" which has a high and tight collar which keep the c harness from rubbing me and brass from down my shirt.

I did adjust the PC to have the rear plate ride higher after I saw how low it was riding.

Girl named Montana that was in the class. She's a waitress somewhere in ATL. Had a DD rifle, Glock 26 and 43 iwb the whole time. Not one to mess with.

@Righter13 did you get a course book that you were taught out of to take home with you?
Yes and no. We did get a book to take home. But I wouldn't say that we were taught out of it as much as much as it was used to supplement the lecture portions. The book covers mostly mindset, purpose and the like.

That's what I was referring to. I'd love to see it and compare it to other courses I've taken from different schools to see where it differs or is the same, etc.

If there are specific parts you want to know about i don't mind answering. At the same time I don't want to give away to much of the class.

I've only been to a few different schools and I think fundamentally they're all the same.

The mindset taught and the atmosphere is where courses will differ In my opinion.

Not really...just wanted to compare. Since I've taken those classes from a different school under Reid's instruction, I was curious how they have evolved, if they have any.

I may have misspoken again (@Laufen)

When I say they're all the same I'm referring sight picture, sight alignment, steady squeeze and the such. The fundamentals are the same across the board.

It's my bet it's the same exact class that Tactical Response crafted over 20 years that he taught.

Could be. I've never taken a class at TR so I can't speak on the likes and differences.

It adds a tremendous amount of value to the class for me if it is. New training schools usually have to prove themselves over time. If he took the courses that have been already proven, then he's ahead of the curve.
