The 500 rounds I got were nice and clean and shot well. Powder is slightly smoky compared to the 4895 that I'm used to, but not bad.

Where are you getting that ammo from? I might have a hard time getting it on post from my PO box. I guess I could piss off my wife and get it sent to the house, and have her move in to the garage.

SG Ammo last time I think. Ammunition Depot also- they usually have a deal to get free shipping if you buy two empty ammo cans with the order.
