I think boxers use petroleum jelly. I haven't watched a fight in years, so I'm not sure about UFC.

I worked for the Ga state athletic commission for a while. Got to be cage side at UFc 88.
Before the fighters enter the cage they are coated in petroleum jelly. It's to prevent cuts. Helps punches slide off instead of tearing flesh. Also help moisturize the skin and make it more elastic.
Often it is a mix of petroleum jelly and adrenaline hydrochloride.

I should be more specific about them being coated....the brow and cheekbones are where it is applied.

Not surprised. She is a fighter. Wanted to watch, but not at the price they wanted for about 2 minutes of main event.

I think one of the best fights on the ticket occurred just a couple before Rowsey's Main Event.
