Thanks to @Balthaz I have a stripped lower (actually added an lpk this morning) that's burning a hole in my gun fund. I'd kind of like to build it into either a 300 Blk pistol, or an 18" 6.5 Grendel rifle. Which direction would you go and why? Can't make up my mind.

Also, if I go rifle...anyone have a rifle buffer tube they'll sell me?

Feel free to post up pics of your own...talking to you @Red Dawn ...

I would go 300 Blackout because the bolt serves dual purpose you can use it in either 223/556 or 300 Blackout and the magazines are the same too.
But if you like a Saucy Rifle go with 6.5 Grendel as it will make for a Great project and one hell of a Shooter.
Really can not go wrong either way.

Yeah, and I'd like to shoot some suppressed 300Blk....just because.

2 completely different calibers and purpose. Suppressed 300blk is fun....for a bit, then the coolness wears off. However, ringing steel at x distance never seems to get old.

If looking at 6.5g, and you are are a reloader, then check out the new 224 Valkyrie. I've pretty well lost interest in AR's, but I'll probably be getting a 224 in the not so distant future.

My next will be a .300 pistol. But I already have the lower built. I bought a 7” PSA pistol kit in 5.56 just because it was such a good price KNOWING it was just a good way to get me to a .300 BLK

That's what I'm considering. I'd like to have a longer range option.

Argh, considering that too but I'm not reloading at the moment.

You can find it for a little over a dollar per round. Definitely not something to go burn a couple hundred rounds at the range but it would make an excellent hunting rifle. I've been debating a Sharps or a Socom. I'll probably go the Sharps route first and save up for the .458 CMMG Anvil that I want.
