I'm assuming it's the one on ODT with pics of it in his driveway. I would offer $425-450 and see where it goes. Deer season is over in one week so it will be sitting there for a while being that it's an -06.

He would not take less,I`m going to hold off and think awhile. Been hunting with my sporterized Mauser for 40 years now. Just feeling a change. Was thinking 308,maybe not sure
Unless I was just in love with .30-06 for some reason, I'd look into a short action... just me and my thoughts though.
The new Rem 783 Walnut models are sharp! I had a synthetic model that had amazing accuracy for a $350 rifle. Then again, you can always get a 700ADL 308 24" at Academy for $379-429
