The concept is very cool, but judging from the comments it isn't anywhere near viable.

It sounds like it has to be hot and basically raining for it to work...

Definitely seems like they're on to something though. I think some technological advancements are necessary before its viable in any practical sense.

Interesting- basically a scaled down refrigerator. I'd kind of like to see something done off of an ammonia refrigeration cycle- that can run on a very small flame and would probably be much better than the solar power option. After all, sometimes you get thirsty at night too.
