Swivel studs?

what's the best stud for a wood rifle stock? my experience is that they all back out. what have you guys found is the most secure?

yes.

Since I have not added one of those to a rifle stock in almost 40 years, I'll have to ask my son what his opinion is (he builds rifles for fun). I probably won't see him for a couple of weeks, though.

I'd suspect there are others here with more recent information.
