Has anyone here suppressed their 30-30 lever action? With a .30 cal can on the way, I thought that would be a good host. I may take mine to Dobbs Defense and have them thread the barrel.

Also, does anyone make any taller sights that would work with a can?

I did a Marlin 336. No iron sights though. Put a XS rail on it and it wears a 1-4x

Pics?

How did it perform, is that something you would recommend to someone else after having it done?

Works great! I had dobbs defense cut it to 16" though so it is far from stock. Very quiet with subs.

I plan to hunt with it this year.

I use a 150 grain plated bullet for my subsonic loads in 30-30 and .308. Costs about .25 cents per round.

one of the most amazing guns I've ever heard was a suppressed 30-30 with 220gr handloads.

I had intentions to taking it to Dobbs today, but after getting half way there realized I forgot the rifle. Dave said he had worked on a few others and said it had a couple options how to do it, but should be an easy job.

It sounds like a promising project then.
