I shut a silenced AR with the JP silent capture spring and low mass bolt..... I'm about 800% sure I need one. So much quieter, charming handle felt smoother, and maybe it was the low mass bolt but very little recoil

I feel that way too, but I've never fired my sbr without the JP, so I don't really have a great basis for comparison.

Low mass stuff shoots awesome, but you have to tune it to work for a specific load. There's a good chance it won't run well on a variety of ammo.

Rifle length gas, low mass bolt, silent capture, and m193 ran great
Nice. It's hard to beat a rifle gas system for a smooth shooting rifle. Some of the fastest guys I shot 3 gun with had some awesomely tuned ars. Those guns would pull off very quick doubles, and had virtually no recoil or muzzle rise.
I wonder if it would cycle some lower powered 223 ammo too?

No clue but I intend to mimic the build eventually! He didn't have an adjustable gas block but I may

I run a JP Silent as well in my 10.5 5.556 and it is by far way better than a traditional buffer and spring.
